She’s in her ERA Era - Join us in welcoming our newest therapist, Kelsey Philippi, LPC-IT

Hello everyone - I’m truly thrilled to be here.

My name is Kelsey and I have immediate openings to see new clients in person or via telehealth.  As a newly established therapist, I am passionate about helping folks navigate life's challenges, uncover their inner strength, and discover their unique path to wellness.

How did I get here? Like every therapist, I began my career as a wildlife biologist. We love a nonlinear journey - the twists and turns keep life interesting! After working in wildlife, I transitioned to the next logical career and joined a fertility practice working in a variety of roles. It was here that I began to make connections about how people find strength to get them through difficult times. Between fertility and wildlife, I saw people change before my very eyes as they navigated what it meant to have dreams shift, experience heartache, and try to put impossible experiences into words.  I have always been fascinated by the intricate workings of the human mind and the incredible resilience of the human spirit. After pursuing a comprehensive education at Northwestern University, and gaining invaluable experience in the field, I am now equipped with the knowledge, skills, and empathy to assist individuals in overcoming obstacles and unlocking their true potential.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, respect, and collaboration. I believe that therapy is a deeply personal and transformative process, and I am committed to providing a brave, non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Therapy is the place to talk about the things that nobody talks about. Together, we will work towards identifying the root causes of your challenges, developing coping strategies, and fostering a greater sense of self-awareness, compassion, and acceptance.

From managing stress and anxiety to building healthy relationships and boosting self-esteem, I will strive to address the issues that resonate with you and provide practical insights and actionable steps to help you thrive. I have specialized training in infertility, trauma, perinatal mental health, couples, and climate psychology (you’re not alone!).

I strongly believe in the power of education and awareness when it comes to mental health. By sharing evidence-based information, tips, and resources, I hope to empower you with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about your well-being.

I am eager to connect with you to foster a sense of community where we can learn from one another. Thank you for joining me on this exciting journey. I look forward to exploring the vast world of mental health and personal transformation with you. Remember, you are not alone, and there is always hope for a brighter tomorrow.

With warmth and compassion,

Kelsey
